                                  DO NOT BE FICKLE
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day un rushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more (But one is often not enough, two are often too many).
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. Your time schedule or that will compromise your mental health
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budge.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, passports etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in Your everyday.
16. Carry a good book with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that helps improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Try to nip small problems in the bud.
24. Make friends with good people...
25. Keep a folder of favourite readings/sayings on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank You Jehovah God.
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego
33  Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. You are not the general manager of the universe, remember?
36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

'If God is for us, who can be against us?'

(Romans 8:31).

This is our March tract. It is meant to encourage us to major on majors and not major on minors. All things may be neccessary, but not things are expedient. Let the Holy Spirit lead us so we would not be fickle. God be with us this new month, amen.

Tina.

Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers! how can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Proverbs 16:28 A perverse man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. Proverbs 17: 9 He who forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter alienates a friend. Leviticus 19:16 You shall not go up and down as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand forth against the life of your neighbour: I am the LORD. Proverbs 26:20 For lack of wood the fire goes out; and where there is no whisperer, quarrelling ceases. 22 The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body. Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF

Did You Know?

Creativity comes from God the Creator and He has given us pro-creative abilities in different areas to make the world a better place and provide works of charity. In TLF we are big on arts, crafts and creativity. We celebrate creativity. Many people have been able to support charitable causes from creative art exhibitions and sales. Many others have also used their creative works to raise awareness on various laudable causes for social development. Take for instance in our theme for this month, we have selected some creative art works that will help pass our message to us in an artistic way. Also in our Centre, we host children who often come just to draw and make things from recycled materials. We strongly invite you to like our facebook page - TLF Creativity. We also share and retweet such creativity on our X handle that we also invite you to like and share. Our various artworks in TLF add to the posters we paste around and the comics we also produce and share out. Join our facebook ...
