A Coin Remember charity is a voluntary giving of ourselves, nobody not even God would force us but we must know that God loves a cheerful giver. Now read this mail we got some time ago- An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go begging. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to help him. He bought food and as he sat down to eat an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them.. They were so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket. With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then gave him a very old coin. The young graduate said to them 'you need the prayer more than I do'. With no mo

Be sensitive... there are people around who have despite all odds decided to do honest things to excel in life. He could have gone into bagging, but he did not. What is your excuse? Be sensible... this woman could have been irresponsible. But she was ready to do anything legitimate to send her son to school. But the son on his part was sensible to utilize his opportunity. Do not ruin your destiny be sensible! Be loving... there are people who like the story of the good Samaritan stumble onto a need and make attempts to alleviate the problem. They are loving to the needy around them. Praise God for that. God bless them.

OUR THEME FOR THIS MONTH IS CHARITY IN ITS ENTIRETY Do you know about charity? In TLF it differs from humanitarianism because it is founded in God. We act as channels of God’s love. We give firstly ourselves, then what we have in cash, kind or words! God willing our events for this month include:   I.      Film-show at a Church where we will show the film “Passion of Christ” & Documentary of its making. We would share DVDs. II.      Public Poll (about the awareness of Politicians and their roles of creating future protégé) this will be done in parts of Nigeria. III.      Distribution Stand where we will give out clothes and shoes and other items donated to us for needy people. We will set up stand at Ilorin. IV.      The Usual- we would send out SMS\ Email\ Comic\ Poster\ Write-up Join us in praying for a successful month, with God’s blessings and provisions; that the target would be blessed and the workers will be zealous and strengthened.

What we do is to inspire, motivate and encourage people leading society to be more sensitive, sensible and loving to God’s glory. We are channels of God’s love and we do this via 12 cardinal projects done monthly in love- distribute Bible, devotionals, books, CDs, tracts, comics, paste posters, send SMS, emails, give out donations, organize seminars, workshops, lectures.
