In this month of April, we at the Tina Love Foundation celebrate Dr. Ify Mokwenye. A junior registrar at a University Teaching Hospital. She was born in July and loves studying. She appreciates hardwork, honesty and truth. Her turn offs are pride, sluggishness and greed. She has donated to the work of TLF and attends our meetings and programmes. May she continue to be there for TLF and the society at large, even as we pray that God bless her and be with her, in Jesus name, amen. Osato April, 2012

MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF YOUR PEACE Make me a channel of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me bring your love, Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord, And where there’s doubt, true faith in you. Oh, Master, grant that I may never seek so much to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love with all my soul. Make me a channel of your peace, Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope Where there is darkness, only light, And where there’s sadness, ever joy. Make me a channel of your peace, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, In giving to all men that we receive, And dying that we’re born to eternal life. This Month of April, as some places would be conducting political elections, let us make ourselves instruments of peace and not nay sayers. We may not carry weapons or steal ballot boxes, but our negative comments and inactions can be worse of. Let us know that whatever happens
ECCLESIASTES VANITY UPON VANITY, ALL IS VANITY, SO SAYS THE PREACHER. Millions are suffering in the midst of war, famine, poverty, and neglect, and it can be hard to decide exactly where your money can do the most good. The AIDS pandemic impacts millions of families across the globe. In fact, it is estimated that 6,000 children lose a parent every day to AIDS and AIDS-related illnesses. The global food crisis is endangering the lives of nearly one billion hungry people around the world. They are threatened by starvation — a slow and painful death. Millions of children are living in tattered rags because their families can’t afford clothing to protect them from the hot sun or freezing temperatures.   Every day is a fight for survival in many parts of Africa. Droughts, floods, and diseases can cause agonizing hunger. Every six seconds a child dies because of hunger and related causes. Right now, millions of suffering children are at risk of starvation. But there is hope. Every day, chi
This month, we focus our comic on the issue of politics. As election brews in some states and countries around the world, let us be sensitized on the place of politics and its anticedents as well as our role in government. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord God. Let us pray for our states, countries and leaders. If we happen to be a government position, may we serve in Jesus in our hearts and mind, doing what He would do if He was there physically. Tina. April, 2012.
