By God's Grace

July Ends...

We thank God for yet another successful month. We want to encourage you that God loves you more than any work you're doing in His name. Remember the story of Mary and Martha, while Jesus visited them at one time? Also remember that some people get lost in the work of God that they assume "Messiah Complex" and believe without them things won't work or will fall apart, it's not so. We are God's handiwork, after our lives here, we shall return to Him and He'd raise more labourers for His vineyard. So what is important is that we refresh, rekindle, reboot and retreat often to fan aflame our fire of love for Him.  Our fellowship and intimacy with God is more than any work we do, ask David. As a shepherd, warrior and even king, he took time to pray, commune, write Psalms and sing to God. Examine the life of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, He took time out to pray and be with His Father, not minding His busy schedule and good works He did everywhere. Paul has ...

Be Inspired

2 MAILS FROM JESUS Ruth went to her mailbox and there was only one letter. She picked it up and looked at it before opening, but then she looked at the envelope again. There was no stamp, no postmark, only her name and address. She read the letter: Dear Ruth: I'm going to be in your neighborhood Saturday afternoon and I'd like to stop by for a visit. Love Always, Jesus Her hands were shaking as she placed the letter on the table. "Why would the Lord want to visit me? I'm nobody special. I don't have anything to offer." With that thought, Ruth remembered her empty kitchen cabinets. "Oh my goodness, I really don't have anything to offer. I'll have to run down to the store and buy something for dinner." She reached for her purse and counted out its contents. Five dollars and forty cents. "Well, I can get some bread and cold cuts, at least."  She threw on her coat and hurried out the door.  A loaf of French bread, a half-pound of sliced...

Let Harry Live

Beware, some offers for job, help and the better life are scams!

Several Nigerians recently rescued from trafficking syndicates in Côte d’Ivoire have recounted how they were deceived with promises of lucrative employment, only to end up in captivity and forced into commercial sex work. The survivors, identified as Monica, 17; Juliet, 18; Rejoice, 25; Joy, 22; and Monica Tamah, 38, said traffickers exploited their desperation for better economic opportunities before transporting them to the neighbouring West African country. The victims were rescued in a joint operation involving the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, authorities in Côte d’Ivoire and the Global Anti-Human Trafficking Organisation. In a statement obtained by PUNCH Metro on Thursday, the founder of GAHTO, Prosper Michael, was quoted as saying that the operation followed months of exploitation and abuse suffered by the victims. Recounting her ordeal, 17-year-old Monica from Benue State, said she accepted what she believed was a bakery job in Abuja before she ...

Our Visit To The Sickle Cell Centre

So today we had our visit to the Sickle Cell Centre, where we've been going at least once a year for almost 10 years now. We met with stiff hostility and terrible behaviour from a staff who stood in the way of our outreach. In matters like this, we usually overlook such characters and focus on the beneficiary. But this obstacle stood in the way of one patient who would have benefitted from our love visit. TLF has no intention or time to rub in the mud or take up the issue officially which is a very little thing we can do at no expense, but like Paul in the Holy Bible, who in his letters to the Church, named those who resisted his work and stood in the way of the Gospel, we shall only report this woman's name to God Almighty and leave her to her fate. But we expressed our disappointment in her to her with gentleness and love, as is in our principle as a Foundation. TLF's policy is not to make people die in their sins or lose their jobs, what shall it profit us? But we know t...

TLF FilmShows!

Inspired by Uncle E and Mount Zion Films, TED Talks among others! Several years ago we had a film-show in Ekosodin and the feedback was good. So we look forward to many more of such TLF outdoor activities. We thank God for our new projector, our repaired screen, our mobility, our re-designed lighting system, our serviced fuel generator, our newly rewired speakers and our ever ready amplifier and DVD! We cannot forget all those who donated for us to get a brand new Projector in 2020. In our filmshows we communicate good for the good of society, you and I are part of. If we do good and good exists in the society we will all benefit from it. We abhor the porn industry and seek to regulate the music industry. We cannot ignore the infiltration of evil morals in our children's media and cartoons which we vehemently kick against. Overall we applaud those who use audio visuals and public display of films, documentaries and other screen shows to promote charity and social development to God...

Did You Know?

In TLF we are big on education at all levels. Having experienced tertiary education in University of Benin, University of Ibadan, Afe Babalola University and University of Ilorin not to forget the Nigerian Law School, there is the urgent need to cater for the needs of the tertiary environment - staff and students. We also give special mention to those with businesses, religious centres, visitors and parents of those in tertiary institutions. Take for instance in our theme in September especially, focus is completely on issues of literacy and learning. The role of the tertiary institutions we have in Nigeria cannot be overestimated in terms of charity and social development. The tertiary institution is often seen as the finishing school of every individual who has the opportunity to attend.  We acknowledge those who did not attend tertiary institutions by choice or due to circumstances beyond their control, they also form a significant part of the tertiary institutions' community....

Be Encouraged

FOR FRIENDS OF TINA LOVE FOUNDATION (TLF) God still sits on the throne. Each of you may be going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.  Let's continue to pray for one another.  Let us pray:  "Father, I ask you to bless our friends, relatives and blog viewers and followers reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace. Bless their faith, destinies, works, schools, homes, families, finances, their going out and their coming in, in Jesus' precious name, Amen. #EndHumanTrafficking #July TLF💚

We Have Been Invited, You Are Also Invited

Be Motivated

God loves you, If all else fails including yourself,  God never fails. In God there is no hopelessness. Remember the story of Abraham, Moses, Naomi and Ruth, Philip, Jacob, among many others who moved. Before you relocate or fall into the bandwagon of emigration, seek God's will. Be Positive  Be Progressive  Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life. That huge sum of money you need to relocate might change your life more than what you may hope to achieve elsewhere, and also the lives of those around you. Walk by faith not by sight.  Receive God's blessings. Emmanuella #EndHumanTrafficking #July TLF💚

Tracts

Join us to share our tracts. Please anywhere you see our tracts help ensure they reach the readers and are not destroyed or mutilated. We urge you to come to our Office to get copies to help us share at home and abroad. You can also write for us and\or donate to printing and publication. Thank you. TLF💚

Purchase of more musical instruments

Holidays are here and children are free and some have no plans for engagement this period. TLF has a Centre! We will love for you to join us as we acquire through kind, cash or gifts more musical instruments for people to use to learn and accompany their music lessons. Besides our music activities at the Centre, we want to help re-orientate people’s tolerance with regards the type of music in vogue nowadays. The rising decadence in the society is largely as a result of evil communication found in most contemporary music lyrics and video shoots. These are corrupting the years of when music was a powerful tool in making people to be more sensible, sensitive and loving. #EndHumanTrafficking #July TLF💚

We had the privilege of visiting him some days ago when his beautiful wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy! To God be all glory. We also appreciate and celebrate the works of Our Daily Bread and Mrs. Isioma Francis. We got over 10 copies of the Annual Our Daily Bread which we have been giving out and will continue to. These were freely given to us by Mrs. Francis in honour of her late sister. May she be comforted and ble...

UN Days for the Month of July

UN Days for the Month of July The United Nations designates specific days, weeks, years and decades as occasions to mark particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action, the objectives of the Organization. Usually, it is one or more Member States that propose these observances and the General Assembly establishes them with a resolution. On occasion, these celebrations are declared by the specialized agencies of the United Nations, such as UNESCO, UNICEF, FAO, etc., when they concern issues that fall within the scope of their competencies. Some of them may be later adopted by the General Assembly. 11 July World Population Day 15 July World Youth Skills Day 30 July International Day of Friendship  30 July World Day against Trafficking in Persons  Stella For: Friends of TLF #EndHumanTrafficking #July
