Happy New Month and Year!!!

On behalf of the trustees, members, friends and associates of the Tina Love Foundation (TLF), we pray that the sincere prayers of your heart shall be answered this year.

This month is dedicated to the celebration of seizing the day and utilizing every chance God gives us, for His glory and our growth!

Your joy shall be evident to all. The Lord bless you, and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen.

CREATOR

Hope we have not replaced the Creator with the created

We admire nature to a fault

We could spend hours alone or with a loved one

Admiring and serenading nature-

With its pleasant sunshine and rain

But we lose the focus if all we see is that

Oh what sweet melodies the birds make

Wonderful fragrance emitted by the flowers in the wild

Powerful waves of the ocean right from the sea bed

The uprising of the mountains, the distance of the valleys

The crying of the waterfall, the softness of the clouds

The warmth of the sun, the purity of the moon

The complexity of the galaxy, the spark of the star

The mane of the lion, the gait of the jaguar

The laugh of the hyena, the beak of the parrot

The purring of the cat or the beauty of a puppy

The colour pattern of the panda, the coil of the worm

The muscles of the man, the hair of the woman

The craftiness of a boy, the beauty of a girl

Do all these take your breath away

Are they more appealing and beautiful than the Author Himself

The baby is finer than the mother

The thirst of the milk is more appealing than the look of the cow

The egg is more tasteful than from whence it is pushed

Lord may we never take the golden calf to replace your image.

Story Time

Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself." But her mother supported her. Lisungu began to find hope again and joined an HIV support group. Then she started to help others who were also HIV+, and took a college course about HIV-AIDS. She spoke at HIV meetings with the young people in her church. She believes that it is ver...

Why Do You Smoke?

6 personalized approaches to quitting forever.  Everyone smokes—and quits—for different reasons, and the key to getting smoke-free for life is to find out why you are smoking and then change those behaviors. If you are a Recreational or Social Smoker, you may feel that your limited smoking poses no serious medical harm to yourself or others. You may, however, ignore warning signs that your occasional smoking is progressing into addiction, especially during periods of stress or increased alcohol use. A periodic review of these warning signs may help motivate you to consider becoming smoke-free. The Scared-to-Quit Smoker has no end of reasons (excuses) to put off going smoke-free to some future date. Sometimes it helps to focus on just quitting for one day. If you can quit for a day, you can quit every day. This realization can be a great confidence builder, and helps to decrease your fears about not smoking “ever again.” Forever is too big a word for many addicts; thus the old adage...
