LET US PONDER

Since the society, potential employers, even in-laws, the electorate and government appointed offices expect one to have at least a post-secondary educational qualification, many people are going through schools without it going through them, just for them to obtain the ‘paper’! Every degree comes in paper certificate! In as much as most people would further be proved and tested by oral interviews and conversational skills to know their real   worth, the fact still remains that the education we have now is only in form of paper certificates and title. Many illiterate people still have common sense and wild general knowledge, while many lettered people have stereotypes and area-narrowed views (hardly will you see an Economics graduate knowing about Engineering, or a doctor knowing about philosophy, or an English or Foreign language student knowing anything about Biochemistry). True education envelops humility, open mindedness and practice.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
