 17th May every year is World Telecommunication and Information Society Day  (A/RES/60/252; ITU Resolution 68/2006) 

 However, Over the years we have witnessed the increasing dangers people are exposed to via telecommunications all in the name of receiving information

 But what do we do? We can't say we would stay away from technology all in the name of safety! 

 TLF invites you to watch and listen to "The Danger of Social Media Addiction ... and an Unlikely Suggestion" delivered by Bovi Ugboma at the TEDx Gbagada. 

 We had the opportunity some years ago to broadcast it at a Private Nigerian University and it was very much welcomed. What role can we play in the aspects of telecommunication and information as an NGO? 

 Remember we are on a number of information platforms available and accessible via telecommunication devices. So we are all a part of it.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
