This month we looked at sub-issues under the theme Trafficking! Trafficking can be likened to bondage or slavery.
The United Nations enjoins nations to take seriously the issue of trafficking as it declared 30th of July of every year to sensitise the public on the issue.
Remember in June we dealt with the theme of Work. But not all works are approved by God and the society and the government. Work that makes you give up your birthright as a born again into God's family must be rejected.
Trafficking for greener pastures does not glorify God but demeans the human person, and can even result in loss of life. Most of the attempt to curb trafficking by the country of exit and the country of entry have mostly been hit by political and economic saboteurs.
As Christians we know God is our Provider and provision come from above and not abroad. God will use whatever is legitimate for us to succeed, for our success must give Him glory. Inasmuch as we are fighting many issues and terrorism in the entire Africa, we must still understand that we were born and brought into this continent for a reason.
Friends, Jesus Christ came to set us free, that we may be free and free indeed.
Say no to trafficking, bondage and slavery.
