I consider all giving in Tina Love Foundation selfless sacrifice...
That N10 could have bought you chewing up...
That N100 could have bought you a bottle of water...
That N1000 could have bought you recharge card...
That N10000 could have bought you a decent apparel...
That N100000 could have bought you household items...
That N1000000 could have bought you something big, really big...
But when you give TLF it's sacrifice and a foregone interest for all these and more. Money that could have been given to a needy family, friend or church or fellowship project or other Charity Groups you belong to. But at that time you choose/chose to donate to our cause. What do you think we would say or do? We would rejoice, thank God and pray for you!
2 Corinthians
9:7
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9:12
For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
9:14
And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
To those who feel bad that they have never given or given enough, I am sorry but we have no such considerations, feelings or thought towards anyone. We believe everyone who identifies with our vision and mission has given, first your time, prayers, goodwill, advice and encouragement.
Money is not everything and money is essential. We need money but moreso we need people, prayers and commitment. Imagine an occasion with lots of food, drinks, music, and souvenirs without a single person, not one!
We love and appreciate everyone trustees, members, volunteers, donors, beneficiaries, and all. We are ever growing, ever learning, ever working, thinking, advancing and being pruned, trimmed, fine tuned, corrected and perfected by God Almighty.
TLF is a journey not a destination, it's what we do while we live our lives, while we do our personal work, go to church, go to school, serve the Lord, play games, do sports, pay rent, build houses, pay school fees, buy uniforms, attend conferences, cook, visit family and friends and live our lives. It's charity. It's social development. It's being a light, salt, ambassador and channel of God's love.
