TLF Centre News

Our Centre activities have been down due to lack of volunteers, and volunteers who do not want to work without incentives. In reverse we decided to place a N500 fees a month for parents for their children to contribute to raise stipends for volunteers. But this move made many children withdraw from attending the Centre.

Sadly, this is the long holiday period and many children are not being engaged. Remember the idle mind is the devil's workshop. We in TLF want to snatch these little ones from the fire, from destruction and the devil's workshop!

We need you, we need volunteers, we need funds, we need resources such as refreshments, books, badminton shuttles, nets and bats, table for table tennis, balls, musical instruments, art supplies, diesel for generators, units for electricity, chairs, stools, tables, workgears for the workshop where they learn different skills, and lots more.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
