New Year's Day Visitation

We are planning to visit Oko Correctional Centre on the 1st of January 2026 by 10am. You are cordially invited. Come with gifts for the Wardens and inmates please! Our visit to Benin Correctional Centre on the 25th of December by 10am was a huge success and we thank God for His immense love. We thank God for the privilege we had to contribute our own quota to this beautiful heap of goodies for the inmates this Christmas season. We enjoyed their music and drama presentations. We gave our usual TLF purse to Rev. Popoola who over the years has been helping to reintegrate freed inmates back into the society. You too can support him and his work please. We will be grateful for your presence, prayers and financial support and support in kind as we prepare for the next visit in Oko.  We look forward to receiving more to increase what and where we can give them out to. A Message From Us

Christmas Eve morning, A sacred hush fills the air, and the Christmas tree stands glowing with promise; a euphoric glow of hope fills the air. Its light speaks of God’s love, steady and unshaken, shining even in the coldest seasons of life. It reminds us that darkness is never the end, grace always arrives, and hope is already unfolding. As this holy day begins, open your heart. Receive the promise of renewal, peace, and quiet miracles. The light has come, and it is meant for you. The Lord said “ Unto us a child is born and a Son is given.  You will be fine.  Good morning from all of us at TLF 💚  Merry Christmas in advance... #Solidarity

Today is our D Day for this month's TLF's theme

Over the years we have stood for causes and with individuals and Organisations who promote wholesome living in the society. We have encouraged others not to be aloof or indifferent in the circumstances of those around them - bad or good! Mourn with those who mourn and celebrate with those who celebrate. If like the Priest or Levite (Who represent those who walk pass the needy) you don't care for others, when you too need help, others may walk pass you. No matter the race, tribe, faith, religion, economic or financial status of someone we are all connected to the one human race! We are all created by God. What we stand for in TLF goes beyond online engagement to our activities in our Society and outside. For the past 20 years as at 2005 when we formally started till date, we have kept on with the mission and vision of TLF irrespective of the challenges we face. You too can be a part of TLF as we commemorate this Day of Solidarity, we invite you to stand with causes, individuals and ...

Happy New Month From All Of Us

20th of March Annually is International Day of Happiness

As we continue in our journey towards #Balance let us be reminded that 20th of March annually is the International Day of Happiness.  We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form of activity or the other that is in the pursuit of happiness.  God bless your labour and work of love. See what do statistics reveal about happiness above! People always say that there is a difference between Happiness and Joy! What do you think? How about laughter? Is it a sign of happiness? How about smiling? Is it a sign of happiness? How can we really express our happiness then? May we not do anything in vain. Remember - James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. Remember the ultimate law is love. God is love. There is no answer outside of God. Your life in God is most important. In all your research, su...

Remember that 10th September annually is World Suicide Prevention Day

As we think of happiness let us remember those who are struggling with depression and whose lives' struggles seem to overwhelm them. Remember that 10th September annually is World Suicide Prevention Day. Earlier in this month we handled it here. It is a day set aside by WHO. Many people with seemingly balanced lives with schedules for work, family time and myriad of friends still end up as victims of suicide. We as humans do not have all the answers but God does. Please support us in any way you can so we can view "How to buy happiness" by Michael Norton at our planned flmshow outreach at a school to encourage people to think positively. Remember that our vision in TLF is for us to see more people sensitive, sensible and loving. #Balance #November TLF
