Facebook.com/TLF Creativity

We invite you to follow and join our facebook page where we celebrate creativity and encourage children to discover their creative ability.
I often attend Inaugural lectures wherever I find myself in academic environments in whatever field it centres on. Our prayer is that our numerous lectures, projects, theses and researches leave the shelves and achieves and go to town! Money, fame and prestige are not everything. When we get degrees is it just for our self aggrandisement or wealth? The ultimate law is love, so says the Bible and we align with it in TLF. All our education and research should be for good of the society and for social development. The satisfaction that all God has endowed on us and our knowledge gotten, must necessitate that we take our "gowns" to "town." Let us impact where God has sent us to. How can our society develop if we do not apply even our academic knowledge? I celebrate with all our inaugural lecturers, they have done their own and done so excellently. We commend and congratulate all inaugural lecturers. Thank you. We urge you also to attend inaugural lectures when you can a...

Weekly Outline At Our Centre

OUR WEEKLY OUTLINE  Mondays - General Counselling and Prayers We would agree that there is an increase in wrong decisions being taken by many with regards life and death when things don't go well. There is a need for group circle meetings where strength can be pulled from likeminded people. It's the same way testimonies of believers help strengthen our faith. Come for counselling and group circle meetings. Tuesdays - Seminars and Workshops  Based on our monthly theme we have different sub-themes from which we need to address and formulate action plans as a group. These seminars and workshops also provide opportunities to have film shows. The effect of having audio-visual meetings can't be overestimated. Come we invite you to attend our weekly workshop, seminar or film show. Wednesdays - Ecumenism in Music By bringing people together who have interest in music, we provide in our immediate community, the opportunity for people to sing, have spoken word poetry, and learn with ...

UN Days for the Month of May

The United Nations designates specific days, weeks, years and decades as occasions to mark particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action, the objectives of the Organization. Usually, it is one or more Member States that propose these observances and the General Assembly establishes them with a resolution. On occasion, these celebrations are declared by the specialized agencies of the United Nations, such as UNESCO, UNICEF, FAO, etc., when they concern issues that fall within the scope of their competencies. Some of them may be later adopted by the General Assembly. 3 May World Press Freedom Day  15 May International Day of Families  16 May International Day of Living Together in Peace  16 May International Day of Light  17 May World Telecommunication and Information Society Day   21 May World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development   22 May International Day for Biological Diversity   31 Ma...

May's Theme

It's our month of light  aka  communication.  Communication brings awareness, which brings light to a dark area of our world we do not yet concern ourselves with, and this causes an action plan to be made and executed. We urge us in love to pick one of the issues under our theme for this month and help share messages, videos, pictures and matters for discussion and action plans under any of the issues. Communication is key to human existence. Remember the tower of Babel? But more so remember the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on all who were in Jerusalem and they spoke in various tongues.  Communicate and listen to communicate. Don't be a harbinger of Fake News. Galatians 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things. #May  #Communication
