Our October Theme

OUR THEME FOR THIS MONTH IS REAP AND SOW.
Do you know that the concept of reaping and sowing does not only pertain to farming and harvest? Many people do not know about the natural principles of life. The results may tarry, come on time, but with all things being equal, it must come to pass. There has been recent call for us to go back to agriculture which is good. In this month, our theme is going to be on reaping and sowing in your own context. Ours is on harvest! God loves us and wants to give us increase on every corner. When we sow good seeds we would reap good fruits in Jesus name, amen. Let's bring our sheaves before God.

God willing our events for this month include:
Doing our usual- sending bulk SMS and Email.
Giving out Bible, Books, CD & DVD.
Posting various messages on our internet platforms which include our blog, facebook page, whatsapp, twitter, linkedin.
Also posting latest video clips on our youtube channel.
Giving out tracts, the one for the month is on our blog also.
Organise a filmshow.
Among other things...
As a fall back from last month, we would be donating school items in Ibadan, Ilorin and Benin.
Remember we are branching into tertiary institutions. They will have weekly activities that would be posted on their facebook pages and notice boards.

Join us in praying for a successful month, with God’s blessings and provisions; that the target would be blessed and the workers will be zealous and strengthened.
We are a not-for-profit organization and we rely on God’s provisions to be a going concern. Our constitution allows us receive donations from voluntary, genuine and honourable sources. No matter what, we welcome donations in cash and kind.

Story Time

Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself." But her mother supported her. Lisungu began to find hope again and joined an HIV support group. Then she started to help others who were also HIV+, and took a college course about HIV-AIDS. She spoke at HIV meetings with the young people in her church. She believes that it is ver...

Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August!

Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August! Although this celebration is marked in the month of May, we have harmonised all relevant sub-themes dealing with family and youth under this month of August.  15th of May is International Day of Families.  We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form of activity or the other to promote wholesome family life and the true meaning of family.  God bless your labour and work of love. May we not do anything in vain. Remember - Matthew 12:49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! Psalm 113:Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! You are invited to attend our viewing of - "Loneliness is literally killing us" by Will Wright at TEDxBirmingham . We commend the speaker and give kudos to the organisers.
