Grace So Amazing Foundation

It all started with my first copy of the Word for Today sometimes back in 2006.
I have always loved reading the devotional. Being happy that it was also distributed freely like Our Daily Bread I decided that it will be part of the devotionals we give out in TLF.
By Monday 20th November when I was still planning my trip to Lagos for the Experience, I saw on the inner cover page of the latest edition, that there will be the annual retreat of Grace for Amazing Foundation on the 2nd.
Since I would still be Lagos God willing, I planned to attend.
Even with the all night programme of the Experience, we still made our way to Jide Oki street.
Right there for my first time and for the 13th time, we had the Annual Special Prayer Retreat.

Oh what a place to be! I gave out our TLF brochure to the guest preacher, Pastor J.T, although l had not heard of him before, he spoke words of love and challenge. Among the great things he said, he said we should close the church doors and out to the streets and remote communities for that is where all we do is needed.
After the message, many people came to sing and give testimonies. Gifts were also given to certain key donors and everyone was given food, drinks and souvenirs.
Initially the calendars given did not reach my seat row and the man by me kept complaining.
I patiently waited and to our favour since the calendars were exhausted we were given books instead!

At about 3.18pm the programme ended

... and we prayed. We exchanged pleasantries

... and we took pictures

    ... Buses were provided
This is my beautiful bus top where I got my ride back home.

It was a time we'll spent.
God bless Grace So Amazing Foundation which make The Word For Today available.
We also thank Victor Eguare and the Ogunmefuns and all who make it possible for TLF to re-distribute the devotionals.

Thank you, God loves us, TLF

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF

Did You Know?

Creativity comes from God the Creator and He has given us pro-creative abilities in different areas to make the world a better place and provide works of charity. In TLF we are big on arts, crafts and creativity. We celebrate creativity. Many people have been able to support charitable causes from creative art exhibitions and sales. Many others have also used their creative works to raise awareness on various laudable causes for social development. Take for instance in our theme for this month, we have selected some creative art works that will help pass our message to us in an artistic way. Also in our Centre, we host children who often come just to draw and make things from recycled materials. We strongly invite you to like our facebook page - TLF Creativity. We also share and retweet such creativity on our X handle that we also invite you to like and share. Our various artworks in TLF add to the posters we paste around and the comics we also produce and share out. Join our facebook ...
