Goodevening friends of TLF,

We love you and know you are doing alot in your personal capacity and in other groups and places to make the society a better place, provide charity as well as carter for your family and other primary responsibilities. May God provide for all these and more (2 Corinthians 9:5-15), amen.

We do not task or burden anyone. We are a not-for-profit organisation. We get our funds from donors for as at yet, we are not endowed or under any foreign or government funding or grant.

Any money given to TLF is strictly for the mission, vision and activities of the Foundation. No one not even Tina, Osato or Divine holds money for personal use. 

Like every individual, family, group, organisation or society, donations in cash, kind, discount and wavers are needed for our daily, monthly, yearly activities as well as our long term endeavours such as setting up our permanent centre\office.

Presently we have the following financial needs-
1. Cost of making 100 coloured fliers for more awareness of our TLF centre, 8000
2. Cost of new brochures, still in negotiations but tentatively 30,000
3. Cost of recurrent expenses for the office from October to December, 30,000
4. Annual Returns payable to CAC, 5000 and 2500 courier charges
5. Prison visit in December, 35,000
6. School visitation (6 schools), 60,000
7. Stand at Harvest Bazaar and Conference Stand in Lagos, tentatively, 20,000
8. Appeal in support of other Mission Groups, any amount, minimum 50,000
9. Children’s end of year party in December, 50,000
10. Cost of souvenirs and mementoes such as handkerchiefs, handbands, T-shirt and others, unlimited amount, starting figure of 25,000

  Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself."
