Our focus will be on
Balance
Prayer -
Lord God it becomes difficult sometimes when we are to give our best in our work, school, homes, families, associations, churches and all other things we are involved in. Keep us from burning out and being overwhelmed. May we get our strength and daily refreshments from You in Jesus name amen.
Praise -
There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus,
No, not one! No, not one!
None else could heal all our soul's diseases,
No, not one! No, not one!
Jesus knows all about our struggles,
He will guide till the day is done;
There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus,
No, not one! No, not one! Refrain
There's not an hour that He is not near us, No, not one!
No, not one!
No night so dark but His love can cheer us,
No, not one! No, not one! Refrain
Did ever saint find this Friend forsake him?
No, not one! No, not one!
Or sinner find that He would not take him?
No, not one! No, not one! Refrain
Was ever a gift like the Savior given?
No, not one! No, not one!
Will He refuse us a home in Heaven?
No, not one! No, not one!
Ponder -
"Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' How can we achieve balance?

Five-Finger Prayers

Pray for each other. James 5:16
Prayer is a conversation with God, not a formula. Yet sometimes we might need to use a “method” to freshen up our prayer time. We can pray the Psalms or other Scriptures (such as The Lord’s Prayer), or use the ACTS method (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication). I recently came across this “Five-Finger Prayer” to use as a guide when praying for others:
• When you fold your hands, the thumb is nearest you. So begin by praying for those closest to you—your loved ones (Phil. 1:3–5).
• The index finger is the pointer. Pray for those who teach—Bible teachers and preachers, and those who teach children (1 Thess. 5:25).
• The next finger is the tallest. It reminds you to pray for those in authority over you—national and local leaders, and your supervisor at work (1 Tim. 2:1–2).
• The fourth finger is usually the weakest. Pray for those who are in trouble or who are suffering (James 5:13–16).
• Then comes your little finger. It reminds you of your smallness in relation to God’s greatness. Ask Him to supply your needs (Phil. 4:6, 19). Whatever method you use, just talk with your Father. He wants to hear what’s on your heart. Father, give me the wisdom to know how to pray for others. It’s not the words we pray that matter; it’s the condition of our heart.
Prayer-point -
Let us pray against the high prevalence of depression, suicide and high blood pressure patients in our society. Let us pray that an area of our lives won’t suffer as we place our trust in God for balance. Let us pray that we heed Jesus’ invitation to "Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Charge -
I put my trust in Jesus knowing that He has ransomed me from sin and all the cares of this life.
