 July 30th is International Day of Friendship

Alone, all alone. Nobody, but nobody can make it out here alone. The wind is gonna blow, 'cause nobody & nobody can make it out here alone.

Love is a juice with many tastes.  Some are bitter, others sweet.

A wine which has few...  few vineyards
is much more EXPENSIVE!!

Some friends are to be DUMPED & some KEPT, while few are to be treasured...  I think you are to be DUMPED in a TREASURE BOX to be KEPT 4EVER!

As long as we have MEMORIES yesterday remains: As long
as we have HOPE tomorrow awaits: As long as we have
FRIENDSHIP today is BEAUTIFUL.

If You're TREASURED By God, Then What Guts Would Make
A Human Not Say "YOU'RE TREASURED AND HONOURED"

A friend
is one to whom one may pour
out all the contents of one's heart,
chaff and grain together
knowing that the gentlest of hands
will take and sift it.
Keep what is worth keeping,
and with a breath of kindness
blow the rest away.

God still sits on the throne. Each of you may be going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith. My instructions were to pick some people that I wanted God to bless, and I picked you. This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one another.

Here is the prayer:
Father, I ask you to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' precious name.
Amen.

The Gift Of Friends by Karin Schaefer

   There are days when bubbling from us comes
   the innocent child within,
   who giggles at the little things and wears a silly grin.

   There are days when melancholy comes to
   visit for a while;
   the mind feels tired, the body weak;
   we have no strength to smile.

   There are days when joy abundant
   grabs a hold of you and me;
   wraps us up in all it's splendor,
   lifts us up and sets us free.

   There are days when sorrow wraps us
   in its cloak of grief and fear,
   'till our hearts ache to the breaking,
   'till our eyes can't shed a tear.

   There are days when love bestows us
   with its wonderment and light;
   with its beauty and its mystery,
   its power and its might.

   And there are days when life rewards us
   and seems to make amends by granting us a marvelous gift, the precious gift of Friends.

FRIENDS!
Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word, maybe this could explain:

When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do - you forward jokes.

When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep in contact, you forward jokes.

When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes.

To let you know that: you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, you are still wanted, guess what you get? A forwarded joke from me.

So my friend, next time if you get a joke, don't think that I have sent you just a joke, but that...

#NextGeneration Stories

Cherokee Legend Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage? His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone.  He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help from anyone.  Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some humans might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man! Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.    He had been at watch the entire night, p...

Why Do You Smoke?

6 personalized approaches to quitting forever.  Everyone smokes—and quits—for different reasons, and the key to getting smoke-free for life is to find out why you are smoking and then change those behaviors. If you are a Recreational or Social Smoker, you may feel that your limited smoking poses no serious medical harm to yourself or others. You may, however, ignore warning signs that your occasional smoking is progressing into addiction, especially during periods of stress or increased alcohol use. A periodic review of these warning signs may help motivate you to consider becoming smoke-free. The Scared-to-Quit Smoker has no end of reasons (excuses) to put off going smoke-free to some future date. Sometimes it helps to focus on just quitting for one day. If you can quit for a day, you can quit every day. This realization can be a great confidence builder, and helps to decrease your fears about not smoking “ever again.” Forever is too big a word for many addicts; thus the old adage...
