We sincerely thank our donors in our on going "back to school" support to staff and students of primary and secondary schools around our Centre's present location.
(Even as we pray that those of government Universities would soon resume with the calling off of the on going ASUU strike).
We thank Dr Mrs Margaret for voluntarily donating items from her family not being used again but in good condition. We got school socks, shoes, clothes, bags and other items which we in turn have started distributing. While some beneficiaries come to the Centre to pick what they need up, we plan to go out next week Wednesday God willing to visit the schools we have penned down to visit.
We are happy to announce that, for the first time in a long time, we would be visiting private schools also, whose pupils and students may also be in need of basic school stationeries.
We also have teaching aid chart and other items for Miss Favour whose Charity Organisation organises free French lessons for pupils and junior secondary school students.
One thing we appreciate in TLF is when people (donors) on their own donate in cash or kind to our activities even without our soliciting . While a lot of our members often push for foreign and corporate aids and donations, I am grateful and humbled by the efforts and supports from individuals who do not believe that one has to have billions to give what they can, can afford, and can spare! Little drops of water makes the mighty ocean.
While we await endowments, foreign and corporate aids and donations as well as support from the very rich, we who "have" no matter how little are pleased to support TLF.
Special mention also goes to Tina Tobo & Associate who has been given financial support to our activities. By extension we appreciate the clients whose briefs help to provide these funds.
Last but not the least, we appreciate Mrs Lovett and Mrs Sege as well as many others who have volunteered their time, and freely offered their administrative expertise and experience whenever TLF calls for their help and services, God bless them also and us all, and all who silently pray and support the aim and objectives of TLF.
