Challenges of many students in Nigeria...

No electricity and so many cannot read after school hours at home. How can they even do their homework?

What can we do?

Many wish to do genuine research and submit original works when given projects or assignments, but with no access to internet, they end up "copying and pasting" and recycling outdated findings.

What can we do?

Many are exposed to dangers just because they want to learn, they desire to learn. But they don't have conducive places to do this.

What can we do?

In our little way we have set up a library at the TLF Centre, conducive enough to Carter for a few students within and more outdoors.

This is our month where we handle issues of education, schools, literacy and learning (formal). So let's use this entire month to brainstorm all these issues and bring about practical solutions and action plans.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
