Who belongs here, TLF

Season's greetings,
Depending on where you are, the season of Christmas and New Year is already in the air. Okay not just the harmattan and dryness. We need to hydrate more and use more ointments be you male or female!

We recognise that people are experiencing various other seasons in their lives-
Some just got engaged, got married, had a baby, got a new job, got a promotion, got transferred, got a new home, and so on. Some others have loved ones on admission in the hospital, incarcerated in prison, stranded in foreign countries, kidnapped, in debt, in the midst of false fraudulent cases, or facing threat to life, business, health or academic pursuit.
But whatever we are going through, please let's be reminded of the awesome power of God. The power, mercy and love of God far exceeds all life throws at us and gives us, the good and the bad.
Ecclesiastes  5:19 Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
Ecclesiastes  6:2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
You see why we need the grace, mercy and Holy Spirit of God and not just money, riches, power and knowledge? Because if we have all these and we have no life to enjoy them, of what use are they? We continually seek God first and all other things will be added, press down and shaken together and running over, amen for us all.
By January 1st 2019 God willing we will be marking our 9th anniversary how are you going to be a part of our story? What's your place in the foundation laying and the eventual building of the Tina Love Foundation?

Kindly share with us this story from Our Daily Bread devotiinal,
"Winter Snow"
By

Isaiah 42:1–4

In winter, I often wake to the beautiful surprise of a world blanketed in the peace and quiet of an early morning snow. Not loudly like a spring thunderstorm that announces its presence in the night, snow comes softly.

In “Winter Snow Song,” Audrey Assad sings that Jesus could have come to earth in power like a hurricane, but instead He came quietly and slowly like the winter snow falling softly in the night outside my window.

Jesus’s arrival took many by quiet surprise. Instead of being born in a palace, He was born in an unlikely place, a humble dwelling outside Bethlehem. And He slept in the only bed available, a manger (Luke 2:7). Instead of being attended by royalty and government officials, Jesus was welcomed by lowly shepherds (vv. 15–16). Instead of having wealth, Jesus’s parents could only afford the inexpensive sacrifice of two birds when they presented Him at the temple (v. 24).

The unassuming way Jesus entered the world was foreshadowed by the prophet Isaiah, who prophesied the coming Savior would “not shout or cry out” (Isaiah 42:2) nor would He come in power that might break a damaged reed or extinguish a struggling flame (v. 3). Instead He came gently in order to draw us to Himself with His offer of peace with God—a peace still available to anyone who believes the unexpected story of a Savior born in a manger.

Brethren, TLF is founded on the Word of God, and our mission and vision is to be channels of God's love, the true love. There is a battle for the souls of men, and we are called to be soldiers of Christ Jesus so His coming on Christmas day will not be in vain in the lives of those left to perish in ignorance of the love of God. Or do we want Jesus to come down again to do the work we ought to do? Let's go share tracts, complete Bibles, CDs and DVDs of inspired messages again nd content. Let's share food and drinks to children on the 27th at our centre. Let's visit the prison inmates, let's encourage the reading culture, courtesy, dignity, contentment, concern for one another's birthday, health, job, finances, relationships, family, and even faith. Lets not join the rat race or bandwagon of the "i want more more gang" the I'll instead of the we'll. Well not ill.

Lord Jesus, thank You for willingly giving up Your majesty and coming to earth in order to offer peace. Let's experience peace in our hearts, businesses, families and our belief in You. Keep far from us bad news of sickness, insanity, death, crime, debt or accident. Grant us a grace filled period, where in love we will share our hearts, time, laughs, food and drinks with strangers, family, friends, neighbours and loved ones. In Jesus name, amen.

Christmas is coming, the year is also coming to an end. What are your plans?
You can make a difference.

If for any reason you are unable to get updates and information from this group, kindly check our other social media platforms especially our blog.

Remember that TLF on any of its platforms or physical existence is not abstract or a one way traffic. We are living beings working together for the aim and objectives of this NGO. Being part of TLF is a freewill decision and not one of obligation or sign of loyalty or friendship. TLF is not Tina, we are separate and distinct by law and other ways. We are not obligated to anyone to do what is not genuinely of us. By this, we ask that members on our internet platforms and in our centre/office to engage, feed us back, respond, participate, and get involved. Not doing any of these will be taken as a sign of lack of interest and commitment.

Just as a dear friend and brother I met recently, told me that the reason he left the platform was because he could not be committed. He also said something that was important to me. He said he was free and bold to tell me because he knows I would respect his decision, not hold it against him and maintain our bond of friendship and congeniality. Now we are going into 2019, let's clearly know who belongs, where we belong, and who is in for the long haul!
Thanks.

For us in TLF we are going to be focusing on Enterprise aka Labour aka Work for the entire month of June. We are urged to work. If you do not work how would you meet your daily needs? Like food, shelter, clothings and transportation? What about having what to give to others in need? There are so many reasons to work. I know many of us love to do what we love, we do not like to go to work if we do not like the job. But what if what you are doing as work and being paid for is actually what you love? What you love may not turn out to be a source of income, but we must still do what we can to earn. Are you enterprising? Please keep it up. Are you in paid labour in the private or public sector? Please do your work as unto the Lord God. Are you working all by yourself as a self employed worker? Please continue to grow and progress for greatness. Always know that in - Happy moments, praise God.  Difficult moments, seek God.  Quiet moments, worship God.  Painful moments, trust ...

Abortion

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: 'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.' So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?' ... She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.' The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request. Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.' The la...
