What Extra curricular Activity Do You Engage In?

3 June is World Bicycle Day

We at Tina Love Foundation (TLF) urge sports enthusiasts around the world to spread their devotion to budding talents. We can use sports to achieve a better society. We notice that those who engage in sports lead better lives that stir them away from imbalance. As an extra curricular activity, bicycle riding can be used to also exercise the body. Even those who drive or are pilots can still ride bicycles.

We invite those who can to invest in sports development for charity and social development.

It would give us joy in TLF where those of means can join us in  providing bicycles for people in need, and do not have access to, or cannot afford to buy one.

There are people who use sports do provide scholarships to athletes and even expert bicycle riders. Such scholarships can cater for feeding, accommodation, tuition, sports practice, books and library, sports kits, among other needs.

We desire to partner with organisations and even the UN where sports such as bicycle riding can be used to promote peace, take idleness off the streets, crimes out of the hoods, reduce carbon emissions from less use of mechanised transports, among other benefits.

We look forward to having the likes of sports people as our ambassadors.

We invite resource persons to help in organising seminars and educating parents, children, wards, schools, orphanages and others on the importance of sports and bicycle riding.

For us in TLF we are going to be focusing on Enterprise aka Labour aka Work for the entire month of June. We are urged to work. If you do not work how would you meet your daily needs? Like food, shelter, clothings and transportation? What about having what to give to others in need? There are so many reasons to work. I know many of us love to do what we love, we do not like to go to work if we do not like the job. But what if what you are doing as work and being paid for is actually what you love? What you love may not turn out to be a source of income, but we must still do what we can to earn. Are you enterprising? Please keep it up. Are you in paid labour in the private or public sector? Please do your work as unto the Lord God. Are you working all by yourself as a self employed worker? Please continue to grow and progress for greatness. Always know that in - Happy moments, praise God.  Difficult moments, seek God.  Quiet moments, worship God.  Painful moments, trust ...

UN Days for the Month of June.

The United Nations designates specific days, weeks, years and decades as occasions to mark particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action, the objectives of the Organization. Usually, it is one or more Member States that propose these observances and the General Assembly establishes them with a resolution. On occasion, these celebrations are declared by the specialized agencies of the United Nations, such as UNESCO, UNICEF, FAO, etc., when they concern issues that fall within the scope of their competencies. Some of them may be later adopted by the General Assembly. 1 June Global Day of Parents   3 June World Bicycle Day  4 June International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression   5 June World Environment Day  5 June International Day for the Fight against Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing  8 June World Oceans Day   12 June World Day Against Child Labour 13 June International Albinism Awarene...

Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August!

Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August! Although this celebration is marked in the month of May, we have harmonised all relevant sub-themes dealing with family and youth under this month of August.  15th of May is International Day of Families.  We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form of activity or the other to promote wholesome family life and the true meaning of family.  God bless your labour and work of love. May we not do anything in vain. Remember - Matthew 12:49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! Psalm 113:Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! You are invited to attend our viewing of - "Loneliness is literally killing us" by Will Wright at TEDxBirmingham . We commend the speaker and give kudos to the organisers. You too can organise such a wonderful event. In TLF we inspire...
