Our Mid-Year Crossover Prayers: 12am

Word –

Matthew 25:34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, 'Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' 37 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? 39 And when did we see Thee sick or in prison and visit thee?' 40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'

Pray –

Dear God, we are reminded by Your Word that, one who is kind to the poor lends to the You, and You will repay for such deed. Father we pray for TLF that the purpose for which is was incorporated be fully achieved. We pray for everyone involved in TLF as we lift them up to You for Your guidance, blessings, love, mercy, salvation and grace, in JESUS name we pray, amen.

Praise –

Amen, amen (Revelation 7:12)

Amen, amen, amen, amen

Blessing and glory

wisdom and thanksgiving and honour

power and might be unto our God

for ever and ever! amen.

Charge –

This is our charge that we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. We may have blessings in cash, kind or talents and we are called to use it for the good of everyone and the glory of God. We must ensure that we support TLF and like individuals, Organisations and NGOs in fulfilling the good works God had set from the beginning of the world.

Let us pray for Tina Love Foundation and trustees, members, friends, donors, benefactors, affiliates and all.

Story Time

Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself." But her mother supported her. Lisungu began to find hope again and joined an HIV support group. Then she started to help others who were also HIV+, and took a college course about HIV-AIDS. She spoke at HIV meetings with the young people in her church. She believes that it is ver...
