Our Mid-Year Crossover Prayers: 4am

Word –

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" 5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'

Pray –

Heavenly Father we pray You send more labourers to Your vineyard for the harvest is plentiful. We pray that people do not believe the lies of the devil that there is no hope, salvation or redemption, so they don’t die in their sin, sorrow or despondency, in JESUS name we pray, amen.

Forever More (Tina Clark)

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ the love of God, and sweet fellowship, of the Holy Spirit be with us. This is our prayer and we pray it now and forever more so in confidence we pray amen, cause our prayer is answered with Him.

He’s my Lord He’s my God. He’s the only one I trust, for in His love I am secure, cause He is forever more. Love God, put your trust in the Lord, He’s eternal and everlasting, so in Him is forever more.

Why we need to preach Jesus Christ crucified and raised to life: Because we need a present help in times of need. Jesus knows the worst of us and believes the best of us because He sees us not with as we are but as we will be as we walk with Him. Remember the way the world saw Matthew, Zaccheus, Peter, Saul, the adulterous woman or Nicodemus were not the same way Jesus saw them. Jesus sees a justified us by our faith in Him.

Let us pray for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Story Time

Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself." But her mother supported her. Lisungu began to find hope again and joined an HIV support group. Then she started to help others who were also HIV+, and took a college course about HIV-AIDS. She spoke at HIV meetings with the young people in her church. She believes that it is ver...
