TLF 2nd Term General Meeting. 

We will love for you to join us as we have our 2nd Term General Meeting

Besides our activities and meeting points on line, we would also request that you join us as we meet at our Centre\Office for this meeting on Saturday August 24th by 3pm - 5pm. 

We invite you to join us this month as we read and recommend the book "1984" by George Orwell. Can you imagine this book was where the concept of 'big brother' emanated from?! But it is a serious issue not the TV show that we see around. For us in TLF, the idea of big brother was an all seeing authority in a family who was to regulate, control and manipulate the dependent members of the house. This big brother was to reward who he wanted to and punish those he wanted to. Was this to be a big brother or an Onmiscient-like being?!

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
