20th November is Universal Children’s Day.
We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form or the other of matters of children.
God bless your labour and work of love.
May we not do anything in vain.
Remember Psalm 127:3. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
Mark 10:13-16
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
Psalm 8:2
Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
You are invited to attend our viewing of -
"Raising Kids in Mixed Marriages".
We commend the speaker and give kudos to the organisers.
You too can organise such a wonderful event.
In TLF we inspire, motivate and encourage!
Technology is not supposed to be a problem or hinderance to good upbringing, but it is, because like fire it can be a good servant but a bad master. Many parents and guardians have sadly turned gadgets and new age technology as masters and teachers of children, which ought not to be.
Gangsterism, nudity, sexualisation of children, drug abuse, alcohol intake, exam malpractice, abortions, fornication, cultism, among other vices are being normalised and hardly are they being kicked against.
Children don't seem to want to be children again. They want to be like adults, talk like them, dress like them and act like them. But these are abnormalies. There are stages in life and growth is a process. Since life is not a sprint but a marathon, we should allow children be children, teenagers be teenagers, and adults be adults. There is time for everything.
Look around you and see who our children are mirroring. They most often want to be like their superstar celebrities or those they see out there in society as against who they see within the home.
Raise your children in the way they should go so that when they grow they would not depart from it.
With the poor economy in some places, parents are not able to carter for their children. Some are open to selling their children and those of others as a cartel. Some are teenage mothers who cannot raise a child.
Some were abused and raped and refused to keep the babies from such unfortunate circumstances. But while such events are unfortunate, those babies are not.
Remember the ultimate law is love.
God is love.
There is no answer outside of God.
Your life in God is most important.
In all your research, submit to Jesus Christ and be fervent.
We celebrate all children all over the world, with love,
