Plastic Bottle Of Water In Cars

Bottled water in your car.....very dangerous, woman!!!! This is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer. This has been identified as the most common cause of the high levels in breast cancer, especially in Australia.  A friend whose mother was recently Heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do not drink bottled water that has been left in a car.  The heat causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue. Use a stainless steel Canteen or a glass bottle when you can!!!  CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN HOPKINS HOSPITAL   1. No plastic containers in micro.  2. No water bottles in freezer.   3. No plastic wrap in microwave. Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters.  This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Cancer Update

Cancer Update from John Hopkins    1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard Tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.   2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's life time. 3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.   4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle (lack of sleep) factors.   5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system. 6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning th...

4th of February is World Cancer Day.

We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who participate in the research, management and treatment of all types of cancers. God bless your labour and work of love. May we not do anything in vain. We recognise the works of traditional medical practitioners and alternative health care providers in the management of cancer treatments. We also encourage people to go for regular check ups and tests. Early detection is key to overcome cancer. Most importantly is trust in the healing power of God Almighty Who gives wisdom to the researchers, donors, medical professionals and pharmacists. Remember Psalms 147:3 He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. Remember the ultimate law is love. God is love. There is no answer outside of God. Your life in God is most important. In all your preservation and conservations, submit to Jesus Christ and be fervent. in loving memory of our loved ones lost to cancer and in hearty celebration of our lov...
Do you wear bra for the whole day and even at home?  For years, a lot of articles with regards to the causes of breast cancer point to an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise as the major links to this disease which happens to be the biggest killer among women. One article links breast cancer to the wearing of bras. In the "Bra and Breast Cancer Study" in the United States, it was discovered that women with breast cancer had a history of sporting tighter and longer bra-wearing than did the women who had not (yet) developed the disease. In fact, virtually the entire cancer group wore bras over 12 hours. When a woman wears a tight bra, she subjects her breasts to pressure, closing off the lymphatic pathway from the breast to the nodes. This causes fluid built-up swelling, tenderness and cyst formation. Toxins must be flushed out via the lymphatic. However, a bra-constricted breast cannot adequately perform this cleansing process, resulting in toxin accumulation in the breast. ...

UN Days for the Month of April

UN Days for the Month of April   The United Nations designates specific days, weeks, years and decades as occasions to mark particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action, the objectives of the Organisation. Usually, it is one or more Member States that propose these observances and the General Assembly establishes them with a resolution. On occasion, these celebrations are declared by the specialised agencies of the United Nations, such as WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, FAO, etc., when they concern issues that fall within the scope of their competencies. Some of them may be later adopted by the General Assembly. 2 April World Autism Awareness Day  6 April International Day of Sport for Development and Peace   7 April International Day of Reflection on the Genocide in Rwanda  7 April World Health Day   21 April World Creativity and Innovation Day  23 April World Book and Copyright Day  Stella For: Friends of TLF April

Inaugural lectures

I often attend Inaugural lectures wherever I find myself in academic environments in whatever field it centres on. In one of the lecture series I attended, I walked home with a man who asked a very pungent question. He said with all our intelligent professors and educative lectures what good have they brought to the society? How has Nigeria as a whole progressed? It is a food for thought. If only our numerous projects, theses and researches can leave the shelves and go to town! Money is not everything. When we get degrees is it just for our self aggrandisement or wealth? The ultimate law is love, so says the Bible and we align with it in TLF. Love starts with a smile, grows with a trust, and ends with satisfaction. The satisfaction that all God has endowed on us and our knowledge gotten, must necessitate that we take our "gowns" to "town." Let us impact where God has sent us to. How can our society develop if we do not apply even our academic knowledge? Tobo For: TL...

2nd of April is World Autism Awareness Day

We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who are involved in Autism Awareness. God bless your labour and work of love. We must ensure they have proper education, health care and protection. They must be accorded with the dignity of the human person. We must not scorn or ridicule or cheat them. May we not do anything in vain. Remember 1 Chronicles 28:9 "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. God is the Almighty Creator and everything He does is perfect. God is love. We must not discriminate against persons living with autism, we must show them love while ensuring they are not harmed. There is no answer outside of God. Your life in God is most important. In all your work of love to those who ar...

Story Time

Lisungu Chieza from Zimbabwe was 26 when she was told in 1996 that she was HIV+. "This started my long journey of coping with being HIV+. My husband died in my arms at home eight months later." Not only did Lisungu have to cope with her own illness and losing her husband, but her husband's family also wrongly blamed her for his death. They came to her house, took away his things, and said, "If those children of yours get sick, don't even call us. We won't have anything to do with them or you." They would not even let her go to her husband's burial. "I gave up a college course I had planned to do. All I thought about was death. I neglected my children and myself." But her mother supported her. Lisungu began to find hope again and joined an HIV support group. Then she started to help others who were also HIV+, and took a college course about HIV-AIDS. She spoke at HIV meetings with the young people in her church. She believes that it is very ...

From our folder

You go to the bus station, so that you can visit a big town. There are three buses waiting, each with 10 seats. The first driver says that during the journey, there will be a crash, and 8 of the people may be killed. You are scared, and go to the second bus. This driver says that he will ask the passengers to use seat belts. But there may be an accident and 2 or 3 people will die. This is still very dangerous! So you go to the third driver. He says he will drive carefully, at the right speed, and you will all get to town safely. He has never had a crash. This is like HIV-AIDS and sex. If you have casual sex, you may have an  80% chance of dying (like the first bus). The second bus is the same as using condoms (so-called 'safe sex') - you may still die. The only safe way is shown by the third bus - follow the rules that God has given us for our safety and happiness: no casual sex with anyone before you are married, and only with your husband/wife after marriage. God can give u...

1st of December is World AIDS Day.

We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who finance research, treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. God bless your labour and work of love. May we not do anything in vain. Remember Psalms 147:3 He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. HIV/AIDS is real and sadly many still do not believe it and live carelessly. The major cause remains sexual intercourse with an infected person. We must learn to keep away from the infection and lead more responsibles lives. Remember the ultimate law is love. God is love. We must not discriminate against persons living with HIV/AIDS, we must show them love while staying safe ourselves. There is no answer outside of God. Your life in God is most important. In all your safety, submit to Jesus Christ and be fervent. Tina Tobo PSLC, BL, Ph.D.  ... the ultimate law is love.

April Theme

Our thematic issue for this month is Wellness aka #Health We urge us all to get involved in one form of health provision or the other to avoid sicknesses and pandemics. Whether we believe in the systems put in place to provide health care or not, we must not give up. Year after year for a long time in TLF, we have dedicated the month of April to focus on issues of health, in fulfilment of the vision and mission of TLF. Let's participate in TLF’s theme or on our own, in our own ways to promote healthy living and wellness, and may God bless our cause in Jesus name, amen. Know that 7th April has been designated by UN and by extension WHO as World Health Day and TLF’s activities will as usual centre on acts of charity and social development. God be thanked. Happy month of good health to us! #April  Thanks  God loves us all. TLF

Happy New Month From All Of Us

Happy April
