TLF Activity

Some time ago we had the privilege of gathering clothes from various donors and freely distributing them to a settlement in the outskirts of the city.

We acknowledge the good works of St Vincent de Paul, Heart for the Young Foundation, Mummy Christiana Akpofure who gather not just clothes but food, footwears and other things to share to people in severe need.

Many people are still skeptical, uncomfortable and unconvinced about giving out their clothes and personal effects they do not want again; neither to familiar people or strangers. This often has connotations from religious, superstitious, cultural and others’ experiences.

But TLF friends, God has created us to carry out the good works He Himself put in place to be done in this world right from its foundation. Notice that in Colossians 1:10 we are to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; and Romans 12:21 says that we are not to be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Okay, besides clothes, footwears and money, you can also donate foodstuffs we can divide and share to meet the needs of many.

What if, God answered our prayers the way we answer His call to service?

Our thematic issues for this month is #NextGeneration We urge us in love to pick one of the issues under our theme for the month and help share messages, videos, pictures and matters for discussion and action plans under any of the issues. Let's dig deep into the concept of preparing the next generation of leaders, professionals, members of the society among others, which comes from God Himself right from creation and see how it improves acts of charity and social development.
