Our prayer point for the hour is -

Against Satan’s Tactics

Our Text for the hour is –

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.


Let's Ponder on –


Since the devil cannot stop most average Christians from going to church, reading the Bible or attempting to have an intimate relationship with Jesus, the devil will try and steal their time by: making them,

1. Being busy in the non-essentials of life.

2. Do office jobs for long hours for 6 - 7 days of the week.

3. Over stimulating their minds not to hear the small still voice.

4. Play non-Christian media content.

5. Play non-Biblical music constantly in Stores, Shops, Restaurant, Public transportations, Barbing Saloons, etc. to jam their minds and break the union with Christ.

6. Reading sensual magazines and carnal online content only.

7. Indulge them in Series, Talk shows, which fill their minds with earthly wisdom and sensuality.

8. Keep beautiful models and muscular men on T.V. and Magazines to make them lust.

9. Keep the wives and husbands too busy for their spouses at night so they can start cheating on each other.

10. Using entertainment to distract them from the real essence of Christmas, Easter and Birthdays.

11. Sleep, party, visit, do laundry, read or go to work instead of going to church at that time of the day.

12. In fellowship, involve them in gossip so they will leave with troubled consciences.

13. Crowd their lives with good causes so they won't seek Jesus' power but work with their own strength, forfeiting their health and family.

You must know that the devil won't tempt or deceive you using things, people or situations that are obviously bad but would cover it up with half truths and fake good... remember there would be wolves in sheep clothings Jesus says.

What you have to do is to note the above tactics the devil may use and help stop them. Most importantly you must pray and ask God Almighty to send you His Holy Spirit to strengthen, counsel and direct you in Jesus name, amen. Lies are handles which fit all the devil's tools. Beware of deception it comes sweet, easy and forceful.

For us in TLF we are going to be focusing on Enterprise aka Labour aka Work for the entire month of June. We are urged to work. If you do not work how would you meet your daily needs? Like food, shelter, clothings and transportation? What about having what to give to others in need? There are so many reasons to work. I know many of us love to do what we love, we do not like to go to work if we do not like the job. But what if what you are doing as work and being paid for is actually what you love? What you love may not turn out to be a source of income, but we must still do what we can to earn. Are you enterprising? Please keep it up. Are you in paid labour in the private or public sector? Please do your work as unto the Lord God. Are you working all by yourself as a self employed worker? Please continue to grow and progress for greatness. Thank God For The End Of Our mid-Year Crossover Prayers For 2025

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day, as we continue this second half of this year. I thank You for our  being able to see and to hear this morning. We’re blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for us  and You keep on blessing us .
