Our prayer point for the hour is for -

Striving for Perfection

 

Our Text for the hour is –

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

 

Let's Ponder on –

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. But Jesus says we should be perfect just as our Father in Heaven is perfect. Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And he was called the friend of God. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. As we encourage each other to have faith, let us add love.

 

Our Song for the hour is –

Our God is an awesome God

He reigns in heaven and earth

With wisdom, power and love

Our God is an awesome God.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
