FIND TIME FOR GOD

I got up early one morning, and rushed right into the day;

I had so much to accomplish that I didn’t have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me and heavier came each task;

“Why doesn’t God help me?” I wondered. He answered, “You didn’t ask.” I wanted to see joy & beauty, but the day toiled on.

I wondered why God didn’t show me. He said, “But you didn’t seek.” I tried to come into God’s presence. I used all my keys at the lock. God gently and lovingly chided, “My child, you didn’t knock.” I woke up early this morning, and paused before entering the day; I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.

This month's poster is intended to be printed and pasted in our different locations. It is a serious issues especially in this time when we are so much busier than our parents were 20 years ago.
May the Holy Spirit counsel us on how we spend God's gift of time to us for Him each day, amen.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
