Say no to Xenophobia



May such hate for fellow humans in the name of xenophobia never occur again.

Nigerians were killed in South Africa just because they were just that, Nigerians. Their killers claimed that they were taking their jobs and selling hard drugs to kill their people.

Such lies and malice can never stand in any court of justice. But we leave everything to God to judge after all Nigerians did for South Africans in their apartheid struggles.

Sadly, many Nigerians go to South Africa for education and work purposes just as we welcome their big companies such as MTN, Shoprite, Mulitchoice among others.

When we all embrace each other and live in peace, progress and growth would always abide.

Say no to xenophobia.

Say no to illegal migration

For us in TLF we are going to be focusing on Enterprise aka Labour aka Work for the entire month of June. We are urged to work. If you do not work how would you meet your daily needs? Like food, shelter, clothings and transportation? What about having what to give to others in need? There are so many reasons to work. I know many of us love to do what we love, we do not like to go to work if we do not like the job. But what if what you are doing as work and being paid for is actually what you love? Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August!

Today is the second part of our D Day for the month of August! Although this celebration is marked in the month of May, we have harmonised all relevant sub-themes dealing with family and youth under this month of August.  15th of May is International Day of Families.  We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form of activity or the other to promote wholesome family life and the true meaning of family.  God bless your labour and work of love.
