28th September annually is International Day for Universal Access to Information.
We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who engage in one form or the other of making information accessible to all.
God bless your labour and work of love.
May we not do anything in vain.
Remember Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"
Remember the ultimate law is love.
God is love.
There is no answer outside of God.
Your life in God is most important.
In all your research, submit to Jesus Christ and be fervent.
When you look at all these fibre optic cables that transmit information through servers and waves and all, you cannot but worship God for the awesome intelligence He has given to human beings!
When we access information we are being linked with the knowledge that others do know world over.
But in rural areas like in every country but in particular in Nigeria, what is the level of access to information that our brothers and sisters in the villages have?
Do they have power, solar or electricity to access information?
Do they understand the language information is being communicated to them?
Do they need the kind of information they get? Is it relevant?
How can we help to contribute to the widespread access to information even in our surrounding?
Many ways exist, for example I give out radios, buy newspapers, broadcast messages, news and music from my office. How do you spread wholesome information?
