23rd of March is World Meteorological Day [WMO].
20 years ago, the theme was -
Weather, climate, water and sustainable development (2005).
10 years ago, it was -
Climate knowledge for Climate Action, 23 March (2015).
This year's theme is -
Closing the Early Warning Gap Together.
We commend all those individuals, groups, NGOs, Charities, Foundations and others who carryout activities in Meteorology and research.
God bless your labour and work of love.
May we not do anything in vain.
Remember Matthew 16:2 He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red';
3 "and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Revelation 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
Amos 5:8 He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The LORD is His name.
God is love. God is the Creator of the stars and all in the cosmic clime. God determines the weather and climate. He placed things in place to ensure a balance in the world. Sadly, human activities sometimes alter this balance and causes meteorological uncertainties. But there is no answer outside of God.
In all your research, we submit to the superior knowledge of Jesus Christ.
... the ultimate law is love.
