Today is 12th August and it is International Youth Day 

This celebration is key in our theme for this month.

We often forget that the youths we see around us are the ones who are going to start and make up families in the near future!



Are our daughters ready to bear children that they will raise up in the fear of the Lord and who would contribute positively to the society with the role of the father being played by their husbands?
When you see the youths around you where you are, do you see people ready and capable to have families or people who would not be able to take up the baton to kick start the next generation?

Family is not by chance, it is a deliberate, planned commitment for life by 2 willing persons, male and female!

Today 12th we will be having a special viewing of the topic "Changing the Way We Think About the Future" by Oluwafolabomi Olujimi organised by TEDxCushingAcademy.

After our activities for Wednesday at our Centre, we shall be having this viewing.

Our TLF 2 Day Event

Our TLF 2 Day Event started on Thursday and ended yesterday Friday. We had the person of Mrs Ishioma Francis who came to share good news with the children. We had Art competition and prizes were given. We had spelling bee and gifts were given. We had skipping competition and gifts were given. We had recitation of poems originally written by the children and gifts were given. We also used the opportunity to remind everyone of our theme for August. We shared our drinks and biscuits and everyone had a nice time. The children interacted and had a nice time. It came to a happy end and everyone went back home safely. We look forward to more activities such as these. We thank God for the success and blessings. God bless all those who contributed in various ways. Remember that, the ultimate law is love. TLF
